I got up way too early this morning. Everyone else slept in. I had to wake Mhairi in order to have someone to talk to while I had my coffee. I really wanted to wake Craig and let Mhairi sleep, but he was in a deep sleep so I didn't want to disturb him. Wee Bella slept through the night last night, so I didn't feel so bad about waking her. It's a beautiful morning, so I took her out on the deck and read the paper while she repeatedly tried to grab Bob's nose.

We are in desperate need of a vacation. Mhairi is five-months-old this Friday. Is it safe to travel with her yet? We could use a change of scenery for a couple of weeks.

Um...I don't really have much else I'm willing to say at the moment. Things are just as good in the house of Parker-Boyd as they've ever been. Having a baby has turned Craig and I into little lads again. Our latest adventure was a game of hide-and-seek around 1 am yesterday morning--in the dark. But I cheated. I used a flashlight. And was severely punished for my treason. ;)

Somehow my paid account and extra pictures ran out. *blinks* Had I checked my email like a good boy, I would have caught this. Oh well. Guess I'm not such a good boy after all. I'll renew my account sometime today.

I think I will now take a picnic breakfast across the street and let Mhairi spend a little time with her aunt. As always, hope you're all doing well. ♥

Finally back home. And it feels wonderful.

After the Easter holiday I returned to Luxembourg for a mere two more weeks of filming. We have now wrapped and the film is in post-production and I'm back home with my family. Since returning home we've spent some good quality time with Mir and Cielo, who has become great friends with Mhairi. The rest of the time I've spent...well, resting. And cuddling. And playing. Craig and I spend the lazy days showering Mhairi and Maggie and the pets with attention and affection and we spend the lazy nights making out like a couple of teenagers. Maggie isn't brassed with me anymore, at least I don't think. We haven't had a good sibling fight in forever, and to tell you the truth, I don't want to do that again anytime soon.

Next up is travel I guess. We're all itching to get out of this house for a little while, so we're thinking of taking a bit of a holiday. Don't know where and when yet, but plans are in the works. Millions of possibilities. Second honeymooon, catching up with mates, that kind of thing, until we either exhaust ourselves or take another job. I think it's Craig's turn to work and my turn to stay home and play housewife. He needs to get out. He's been cooped up way too long.

All in all, life is good. At the moment I can't complain, and I'm not sure I would if I could. Cate, I got your message and will return your call in the next couple of days. Who else do I owe phone calls to?

Closing this post by wishing Beanstalk a very Happy Birthday. Hope you had a good one, mate.

If I could take the time to put the quill to the parchment everytime I learned something new, I could fill a tome entire. It would be aged and graceful, and when I am an aged and graceful man I could hold it in my arms and say this is my life. And it would make me smile.

Dream though it is, because of this life. ain't too shabby. :)

Because Karl is such a twat...

A Gift...Collapse )

Suck on those, mate.

someone at work found out I was into cross-dressing and I think that's why I got fired :-(.

Oh and I don't know why ebanadinovich went all psycho over me and karl_urban having a little fun.

Oh yeah. I am so going to kick _parker_ out of the house. They keep on stealing my pizza!

Ahahahaha! Eric, is there something you're not telling me, mate? Wanna little Karl action, eh? *chuckles* Can't say that I blame you.

Craig, stop stealing all the pizza! (We haven't even had pizza in...months and months).

Three things.

First, Congratulations, Sammy! Craig and I are very happy for you, and Craig looks great in a frilly dress should you need anymore bridesmaids :P *runs*

Second, I think Mhairi officially has her first crush. Aw. Thank you again, Strider, for coming over. So, so good to finally catch up with you.

Third, who is here and who is staying with us? The guest rooms are ready, the liquor cabinet is stocked, I've just tuned my guitar and I'm wearing the kilt. Sounds like a party, so get your pretty arses over here because I have a ton of energy and I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT to see all of you.

Maggie, come over for dinner, yeah? Craig is cooking, not me, so don't worry. And I have something for you :)

Man, I have not updated in forever.

I'll make this short and sweet. I'm plane hopping a lot lately because I'm filming a new movie in Luxembourg right now. Since it's only a hop away from London, whenever I get any time off I fly back to be with my family. And speaking of, they're beautiful. Mhairi grows a foot every time I see her (whoo, exaggeration), Craig grows more beautiful every time I see him, and Maggie grows sillier every time I see her :P I know it's not a very good excuse, but between the traveling and filming, I'm not making very much time for friends. Must remedy that.

Starting Thursday. I just got off the phone with Viggo and he's coming over Thursday. He'll be the first to officially meet Mhairi. Sean, are you coming too? Craig and I will provide refreshments, of course, and you two can stay the night if you need to--we have plenty of room. I'm very excited and have tons of coffee (and lots of liqueur to spike it with) on hand. That and a really silly gift I made for Viggo (notice, Vig, how I keep bringing it up).

Now, about this meet-up we're all supposed to have. Who's coming and who needs a place to stay. We could probably provide lodging for five or six of you, but after that it's gonna get crowded. Maggie could probably put up the rest of you (if she's willing) because her house is HUGE. When is it taking place and should I hire strippers?? I'm deeming myself host since we live here already *laughs* I really hope everyone can make it because damn, despite my absence of late, I really, really miss you all. I haven't had a proper hobbitpile since before Mhairi was born, and even though that was only three months ago, it feels like forever. Dom, Lij...are you going to be able to make it? I know the filming in Hawaii is hectic, but can you please spare like...two days? We'd love to see you and Mhairi keeps hearing about these mysterious "uncles." Liv, since you seem to be the one who brought it up, do you have an idea about when it's going to be? I'm asking a lot of questions, I know, but the idea of us getting together is really exciting.

I'm going to stop rambling now. Hope you all are doing well. Have fun, take care of each other, and we send our love. ♥

Funny thing, that. I haven't been angry in a long, long, long, long time. Is there something I should be angry over?

Bend over and let me take your temperature....

There is a beautiful Elf, wet and naked except for the towel around his waist, who is in the kitchen dancing with a two-month-old who is probably the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life. *bites knuckles and takes pictures* There is also a wee blonde woman who bears a striking resemblance to a cartoon character strumming a guitar in the living room, thus providing the tune for said Elf and said two-month-old to dance to (the tune is "Row, Row, Row Your Boat." Cut her some slack. She's only been playing guitar for two days). These are the wonderful things I wake up to every morning.

I keep catching little hints about parties and traveling and get togethers. I want to see you all, you fuckers, but we're not ready to take Mhairi on a plane. Maybe I could call if you all have a party? Or you should just come here. C'mon. It's London. Everyone loves London. It's never cold, never foggy and never rains. Heh. Viggo, I'm making a present for you. It's really dumb because I'm not an artist like you, but I think you'll get a kick out of it. Or at least you'd better, Oh-He-Of-The-Flying-Apples, or I shall smite you with my nice shiny dagger. *brandishes* Oh, and Elijah, don't let your husband call me while drunk anymore. He's hardly tolerable when he's sober, which is hardly ever. But, I'll give him credit where credit is due: he looks damn good with a gun. Hi Dommieghan!

Things are slow for us right now. Kind of at a standstill, so I'm being the housewife again. I even made an earthquake cake last night. Do you know what that is? It's a recipe of my Gran's I found a few nights ago. It has...craters in it that explode while it's baking. So you put the cake in the oven and it looks like a cake, but then when you take it out it looks like the moon's surface and tastes like the best thing on earth. No, I didn't ruin the cake. It's all special effects. I swear. What? IT'S SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE THAT, GAWD!! Ahem. Anyway, I've been slacking on updating. I miss you lot. Sometimes. Maybe. A lot.

I am very restless. *picks up the phone and starts calling people at random*
